I love cupcakes, so when my friend gave me a bundle of fabric with cupcakes on I knew I had to make something with them. It is an easy technique where you lay a 3 1/2 inch squares on top of each other, right sides together and sew all the way round the edge. Then you cut through one layer from corner to corner. Press open the triangles and you will get a larger square.
Then you repeat the process again with a larger square.
Finished block.
